McAfee Distributed DEX Launches On Monday

John McAfee Illumnine

John McAfee has announced that the McAfee Dex Distributed Beta version will launch on Monday. In a post on Twitter accompanied by a video on Saturday, the anti-virus guru urged the Cryptocurrency community to make good use of the platform.

He indicated that it takes time for such a platform to accumulate numerous users and called for patience. In his opinion, a Decentralised exchange is an opportunity to gain freedom from government control of money, and that it cannot be shutdown.

He wrote:

“The McAfee Distributed Dex beta version is coming 10/7. Play with it. It takes time for enough users to join to make it real, but if you play, and be patient, you will see it’s the door that frees us from Government’s cornerstone of control: Fiat currencies. It can’t be shut down.”

Currency Control

McAfee aked the Crypto community to decide whether it is about money or money and something more substantial like personal freedom. He queried whether people are free and may think they are but are not at all.

The former US Presidential aspirant specified that so far as an entity controls the money people use to pay for their daily needs, they are not free. “As long as someone or something control that currency, could make more, deflated, less, monitor how you use it and where you spend it, that is the reality – You’re not free,” McAfee insisted.

Centralised Exchanges

McAfee, however, deems Crypto has the promise and possibility to give humanity the freedom from that control if things are done correctly. But he recognised that centralised exchanges are the vulnerable spot.

“China shut down all exchanges in China two years ago,” he highlighted. “So centralised exchanges are our week point, decentralised exchanges are our escape. Decentralised and distributed exchange can’t be shut down by anyone.”

McAfee emphasised, that, decentralised means nobody controls it, and distributed means it is everywhere, and therefore impossible to stop.

Privacy Coins

Touching on privacy coins, the Libertarian who has been on the run from the US authorities since the beginning of 2019, explained it goes hand in hand with decentralised exchanges.

McAfee’s call comes at a time when Privacy-focused cryptocurrencies are under attack from governments. Many centralised exchanges are delisting or have announced to delist such coins in droves.

Nevertheless, the creator of the popular McAfee Anti-Virus software creator believes, the survival of private-centric coins depends on decentralised distributed exchanges. He, therefore, urged the Crypto community to have courage, faith, stay the course and use the McAfeedex when it comes out on Monday.
